Hello! I’m thrilled to share a bit of my journey with you. As a mother of three daughters, two step-children, and a proud grandmother to seven, my life is vibrant and full of joyous chaos.
My passion for supporting children developed through my active involvement in their educational journeys—be it through support reading, leading the choir, or serving as a volunteer in the school canteen.
This deep-rooted love for working with children naturally led me to a career in Child Counselling. I find immense fulfilment in helping children, particularly those diagnosed on the spectrum or living with disabilities, navigate their unique challenges and discover their strengths.
In addition to my work, I cherish my time fishing, gardening, cooking, practicing Pilates, and, of course, indulging my grandchildren whenever I can.

I run a variety of services aimed at providing comprehensive support for my clients, including:
Individual Counselling
Individual child counselling sessions can help children express their feelings, learn to manage strong emotions, and build positive relationships. Techniques used in Child counselling include Cognitive therapy, Sandplay therapy and Play therapy.
Drumbeat Programs
As a Senior Facilitator of the Holyoake Drumbeat program, we aim to improve social connection and understanding through team drumming (using djembe drums) offering benefits like increased self-esteem, enhanced cooperation skills, stress reduction, emotional expression, and positive impacts on mental health, particularly for young people at risk of problematic social behaviours like aggression, absenteeism, or low academic performance; all achieved through the therapeutic and engaging nature of music and drumming activities.
We are an NDIS-approved provider, allowing us to support individuals with disabilities through various services funded by the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
My Counselling fees are:
$120 p/hour
**$20 extra for transport fee to and from local schools in Proserpine &
**$60 extra for transport fee to and from Cannonvale schools.
